Unlike other gua sha stones typically made from quartz, this tool is composed of Bian stone, an amalgamate of 40+ minerals known for their healing properties. Each edge of the tool is intentionally architected to enhance the practice of facial gua sha, which is a Traditional Chinese Medicine healing modality.

What is GUASHA? It's a Chinese medical therapy that involves gliding a smooth surfaced tool along the body to break down tension and increase the free flow of healthy circulation in the tissues. It's most commonly used to relieve pain and tension, boost the immune system and, these days, to amplify skin and tissue health in the face with facial gua sha and lymphatic drainage massage. The movement of the lymph helps to remove toxins from the body.
